AI Noise Removal

Reduce non-voice sound around recorded speech, review the processed passage and restore original audio when needed.

ChatCut’s AI Voice Isolation suppresses non-voice sound around recorded speech. Select a spoken video or audio clip, apply isolation and listen in the timeline; restore the original audio if the result does not help. This treats sound, not picture grain. It is intended for dialogue, interviews and narration, while music and ambience should be reviewed separately.

Is the noise in the picture or audio?

Use this workflow when unwanted sound makes speech harder to follow. Grain, compression blocks and visual flicker are picture problems; this audio treatment does not change the image. Music, ambience and sound effects may contain intentional non-voice sounds, so do not treat them as if they were speech.

This page describes the ChatCut control. It does not attribute that control to an unverified provider model or claim the provider’s entire feature set is exposed.

How do I apply voice isolation?

1

Choose speech

Select the video or audio clip containing the dialogue you want to review. Keep intentional music and ambience separate.

2

Apply isolation

Right-click and choose AI Voice Isolation. Wait for processing to finish.

3

Listen in context

Compare the treated passage with the original. Check words, consonants, pauses and the background sounds that belong in the scene.

4

Keep or restore

Keep the cleaned derivative if it helps, or right-click and choose Restore original audio. If you extend the trim, check coverage and reapply when needed.

For an Agent request, identify the clip and the interfering sound: “Reduce the fan noise around speech in @interview. Keep the picture and music track unchanged, then let me review the treated passage.” This is a workflow example, not a measured before-and-after result.

What speech artifacts remain after processing?

There is no supplied audition that establishes which artifacts remain for your recording. Listen for missing words or consonants, altered tone, pumping, abrupt transitions and room sound that should have stayed. Processing completion or an automatic transcript is not an audio-quality verdict. Compare at a similar listening level and restore the original if intelligibility or natural delivery worsens.

Before export, check the full treated range and transitions back to untreated audio. Review existing transcript and caption timing separately. For allowances or any current charge shown by your account, use Credits History and the credit policy; this page does not promise unlimited processing or a fixed project price.
